Justice Simeon Ateh Abi of the Banjul High Court has now been
transferred to Mansakonko High Court, in the Lower River Region (LRR).
This was confirmed to reporters yesterday 21 March, 2016 by the
Judicial Secretary Mr. Landing Sanneh.Before his recent transfer to the high court in Mansakonko, Justice
Abi was presiding over some high profile cases at the Banjul high
court which includes the case of Mr. Abdoulie Ceesay, the Taranga FM
Managing Director, Mr. Ousman Badjie, the former Gambian Ambassador to
France and erstwhile Minister of Works, Construction and
Infrastructure, Lamin Fatajo, former Rural Finance Project, under the
ministry of agriculture, and Co, and Mr. Pa Malick Ceesay, the National Assembly Member
for Lower Saloum Constituency.
Justice Abi is now replaced at the Banjul High Court by Justice Dada
Eunice Oshim.
