The debate on the Constitutional reform process has started again in the National Assembly when Halifa Sallah pointed out to the Vice President that one of the pillars of the National Development Plan is constitutional review and further asked her to explain whether the executive has abandoned its agenda for the founding of a Third Republic. He argued that there can be no Third Republic without a Constitution that would bring it about. He asked whether the Barrow administration has abandoned the Idea of Constitutional Reform.
