By Sulayman Bah Gambia’s Hoyantan is set to face ‘Gambien’, of Mohamed Ndao Tyson’s Bul faaleh club from Senegal, Foroyaa Sport can reveal. The two was touted to face off last term with M and B promotions keen to arrange the fight after meeting up while Gambien was on a visit to the country. But the combat failed to take place after the man from Bul Faaleh crew chose to leave unannounced back to Senegal leaving the fight promoter seething and Hoyantan hanging after a fee had already been discussed and agreed between the pair. However the process now looks to be on track with Lamin Champions sound to be the fight promoter this time. Talks are on, according to a source, between the wrestler’s representatives and Cham but a date for the much anticipated bout is yet to be named. Hoyantan and Gambien met up in last Saturday’s wrestling event featuring Action-Yaya Jammeh as the grand combat. And, as expected, things inevitably got spiced up when Hoyantan barged onto his dancing proposed opponent and provocatively lifted him up. Gambien apparently taken off guard, made a light note of the incident waving unconcerned as fans from the stance deliriously cheered. Hoyantan has been inactive since his shock victory over then Gambian champion-hopeful Tass-sa-yaram. He was initially tipped to face Action of club Kololi-Mbolloh.]]>
