According to the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, the former Vice President had told him to ensure payment of compensation to those who had suffered demolition. He said this as he paid tribute to his cabinet colleague.
Since this is said at such a significant occasion one would anticipate that the state is committed to the payment of compensation of those whose properties would be affected by the OIC road project.
Foroyaa would therefore continue to receive information from aggrieved persons in order to conclude whether the Vice President’s last words have actually been put into practice.
