QUESTION OF THE DAY
It is now one month since Gambia experienced an environmental disaster whose origin and impact are yet to be addressed by policy makers to the satisfaction of the population. Those whose livelihoods have been impacted on have not had any encouraging message from the policy makers.
Good governance is about sensitivity and responsiveness to address the urgent questions faced by the population. Foroyaa will speak to the spokesperson of the government to find out whether the executive is fully briefed and why the population is deprived of information. We will continue to monitor the environmental impact of the oil spill and inform the public of the development.
