Mamat Sosseh, a grde 12 graduate from Niamina Senior Secondary School, is soliciting financial support from all and sundry to help him foot his education bill.
Sosseh has successfully secured admission at the University of The Gambia and is due to commence lessons on the 8th February 2021, but is currently in a serious dilemma as to whether he would be able to pursue his academic dream pending the fiscal challenge.
Sosseh has successfully sat for the WASSCE Exams of 2020 and emerged with flying colours of 6 credits and 2 passes, which has earned him admission to the UTG, to pursue development studies.
Mamat told Foroyaa: “I am really determined and ready to further my education. But lack financial strength to do so.”
According to the Offer of Admission Letter, Sosseh’s application has been successful and was admitted to the UTG School of Arts and Science (Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies).
The Letter confirmed that he is due to start studies during the 2020-2021 academic year and is expected to report to the UTG on the 8th February 2021.
His tuition fee is D34, 900 per annum, which is payable in two equal installments before the commencement of the Semester.
