In a clash of Banjul-based clubs, Gambia Ports Authority made sure all that mattered was shoved to their side 
beating title holders Gamtel to top the table.
Gaffer Alagie Sarr endured an unprepossessing run season before this but now look on the part of amending the flaws at least if the results being peeled off are any to go by.
They now top the standings on seven points in three games – one point ahead of second-placed Wallidan who over the added to Steve Biko’s woes trashing them 1-0.
On-fire striker Modou Lamin Manneh was again to the rescue scoring the decisive goal consequently making him top the goal-chart on scoring three in three games.
Real de Banjul are yet to pick their first win of the campaign despite a summer of player acquisition. The All Whites reinforced their squad with new signings but their endeavours are yet to spark off in as three games.
They were held to a goalless draw by Brikama United with Real’s Ebou Kanteh and Bully Drammeh firing blanks against their former clubs. The two players were accorded an impromptu treatment joining their erstwhile club in their traditional photo lineup before the game.
Earlier on Saturday, Banjul United hammered SK United over the weekend in the GFF domestic top flight to move to fourth in the standings.
Elsewhere, Hawks drew Gambia Armed Forces while Samger thumped Bombada at the Brikama Mini stadium on Saturday.
