The former Samger Football Club defender arrived at the Swedish top flight club this week for a trial along few other newcomers. Ceesay arrived at the Allvenskan outfit with a view to convince club coaches he’s worth a professional deal after making a similar audition at second tier side Sirius FK. The 22-year-old, brother to injured Gambia international striker, MomodouCeesay, was involved in the club’s training sessions and has so far impressed in the minutes he featured helping seal the back-four. Ali is a free-agent after quitting Latvia’s premier league club Skonto having made only two appearances and will cost Gefle almost nothing should they decide to secure his services.
