A Gambian player is on the brink of putting the final touches to his
move to German Bundesliga club Frankfurt Eintracht, Foroyaa Sport can
report.
Yusupha Yaffa over the weekend arrived in Germany on the verge ofsealing off his first professional contract after leaving AC
Milan, according to reports.
The Serrekunda-born 17-year-old having spent most of his time in AC
Milan’s youth setup seeks new pastures after seeing his chance to
make the jump to the A-team grow thinner.
Yaffa thrived under the guidance of then youth team coach legendry
Milan ex-striker Filipo Inzhagi -now with the first team –banging goals
for fun. Should the Gambian starlet complete his deal, he’s expected to
bolster Frankfurt’s profligacy –gripped attack in the club’s push to
beat relegation this campaign.
Yusupha is considered one of the brightest talents in Milan youth
system but it’s unclear whether he will be moving on a brief loan or
on a permanent basis.
This publication gathers the transfer is fast being completed but the
process is only being delayed by confirmation of his dual citizenship
confirmation.
Yaffa is no stranger to Gambian football fans. He was first invited to
the Gambia U-20 team in 2008 under Coach Paul Put while he was with
Serie C side AC Cuneo 1905.
