Gambia Registers 3 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, One New Related Death

The Gambia has over the weekend registered one new (1) new COVID-19-related, death bringing the total to three hundred and forty, the health officials said.

The health officials said three new cases were also registered, bringing the total number of cases ever confirmed in the country to nine thousand, nine hundred and fifty-nine, while the positivity test rate is 0.72%.

This is the 391st national situation report since the confirmation of the first case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in The Gambia, on the 16th March 2020.

Two COVID-19 patients are currently on oxygen therapy and only one (1) case was discharged after at least 10 days from the day they tested positive but evaded institutional isolation.
