Fladby who plies in the Norwegian fourth tier with Nordstrand IF arrived in town recently. The 20-year-old midfielder was handed a straight test in a local-based friendly match against Banjul Zonal outfit helping assist the 1-0 goal in the Scorpions duel. Born to a Gambian dad and nephew to late Gambian erstwhile vice president Sheriff Mustapha Dibba, Sidat is expected to be with the team to head to Senegal. He is a graduate of Valenga IF, top flight club trading in the Norwegian premier league and was voted the team’s best young player after they won the reserves’ title five years ago.
