Fortune Football Club Monday announced the signing of Gambian attacker Alieu Barry who joined them on a free transfer from Elite United.
Fortune disclosed the acquisition of the former U20 striker on their Facebook platform.
“The nimble, lethal and explosive striker spent some time with us during our CAF champions League preliminary round against ES Setif where he scored a delightful goal in our three nil thumping over the Algerian side at the Independence Stadium,” the club stated.
“We believe in his potential and we are convinced that he will add value to the team.”
“I am delighted to join Fortune Football Club. I have been welcomed here as a family and I feel comfortable. I am ready to give my best to the team to give them something,” Alieu Barry uttered after the unveiling.
Meanwhile, Fortune FC have also unveiled the acquisition of two other players – Muhammed Jallow (Messi) and Modou Lamin Sanyang (Major) on free transfers from Greater Tomorrow and Brikama United respectively.
“In another development, Bakary Sanneh has secured a place in the first team following his impressive performance with Fortune Academy,” the club disclosed.
Another set of new players acquired included Yusupha Jammeh, Momodou Fadera, Bakary Jatta, Alhagie Mballow, and Ousman Cham.
