Somita and Jennifer Fc have over the weekend locked horns in the group stages of the ongoing Foni Berefet District tourney, which encounter ended in a stalemate.
Somita secured an opener in the 27 minute of the first half through captain ousman sanyang’s free kick. Eleven minutes later Muhammed Colley leveled the score for Jennifer FC curtsey of another free kick. The contest climaxed in 1-1. The high concentration of the game has inflicted Somita FC with 2 yellow cards for Sainey Sanyang and Saikou Jallow.
In post- match interview, Coach Siaka Jarjue of Somite united described the encounter as tough, but hailed his boys for withstanding the pressure from their opponents.
“After my two games, I have 4 points and I will try to win my next game to secure and solidify my position in the group, to avert the reoccurrence of my last season poor performance. I will also make my players to concentrate on the tourney alone as oppose to last year when they were playing in different leagues”, he said.
Omar manga, head coach of Jennifer fc congratulated the boys for securing a point in the contest, which was far fall of his desire to grab all the three points.
“I have midfield and scoring problems, however I will sort the problems out and prepare well for my next game”, said Manga
He urged the people Sutusinjang to give the needed support to the team to make it a mission accomplished for them.
