Demba Janneh has penned the dotted lines in Belgium, Foroyaa Sport can report.demba-janneh

The wing-midfielder joined KFC Oosterzonen after impressing on trial. Though details of the contract remain sketchy as press time, the 22-year-old is at least expected to stay with the Yellow and Reds until end of current campaign.

Janneh, a former Steve Biko Football Club playmaker, was part of the Gambia Baby Scorpions set up that had an abysmal showing in the FIFA Youth World Cup in 2009 staged in Nigeria.

Dubbed the moniker Cris by fans from his home town Bakau, Demba has already made six appearances for Oosterzonen four of those from the bench, starting only on two occasions.

He came five minutes from time in the previous fixture they won 4-3 in a seven goal-thriller duel

Oosterzonen are a third tier side in Belgium and are currently rooted in the play-offs spot with fourteen points in fifteen games.

Demba shares club with Sillah Sallem another Gambian in the squad.
