Senegalese wrestler Eumeu Sene gingered up his increasing number of
fans in his first visit to Gambia since his latest victory.
The club Tay Shinger top dog lit up the streets as elated fans poured on to the streets to have a glimpse of their arena star.It could be recalled that the stakes were high between Balla and
Eumeu, with both wrestlers coming on the heels of defeats in their
immediate previous combats.
However, the pre-match bragging formalities aside and after whistle of
the referee, it was Eumeu –pictured at Ocean Bay – who had tongues
wagging, routing Balla Gaye in the most spectacular of defeats, mixed
with merciless free flowing blows.
The thumping of Balla Gaye on Sunday evoked a floodgate of views amid
suggestions that the man named Omar Sakho has now ran out of steam.
Earlier on Saturday, Tapha Tine reduced a ridiculously overweight
Gouye Gui to a punching bag before walking from behind to send him
sprawling helplessly on the ground in what was the second match of a
four-man mini-tournament.
The first combat saw Ama Balde trouncing Zoss. Tahpa now meets Ama
Balde in the finals.]]>
