Gambian international Ebou Adams has been named the Derby County Supporters’ Player of the Year for the 2024/25 season.

Adams has been a mainstay in Derby’s side this season owing to his stellar performances which earned him the team skipper in some matches for the club in the English Championship.

The 29-year-old Gambian has made 42 league appearances so far, scoring six goals and assisting once.

The combative midfielder received the most votes when each branch of the Supporters’ Club decided on their top performer for Derby throughout the campaign. The award was presented to him at Pride Park Stadium on Wednesday night, as part of the Supporters’ Club’s End of Season Dinner.

“His combative qualities have seen him win more tackles (149) than any other player in the Sky Bet Championship, while he has also worn the captain’s armband for the last 11 games – a run that includes five wins and two draws,” Derby County stated.
