The more Foroyaa investigates the real estate business in the Gambia the more it discovers that companies involved in such business are completely unprepared for the challenges of land tenure in the Gambia and the financial implications associated with it.
The Government needs to make a special study on the business and come up with a white paper on how to regulate it to prevent bankruptcy of companies and defrauding of clients. Gambians want reliable sources of land to invest. They need security and certainty for their investments. All that glitters in this sector is not gold. The sector needs rescue.
