The Gambian public has been waiting for the conclusive findings made after the allegation that paracetamol syrup made by Maiden Pharmaceutical in India and exported to The Gambia was linked to the death of scores of children in The Gambia.
There have been many misleading statements which confused the minds of the public on the issue of the cause of death which needed to be debunked by substantive and conclusive autopsy report from certified pathologists on the cause of the death. We therefore hope that such facts are already available to the National Assembly.
