DEAL FOR NTTC RENOVATION SIGNED

By Sulayman Bah Contract for the renovation of the National Technical Training CentreDEAL FOR NTTC has been signed. The confines of the centre located in Yundum have been in dire need of overhauling and a move has now been taken to ensure its renovation at a signing held at the football federation headquarters yesterday afternoon.Shreeji Development Enterprise reached an agreement with the federation to take up the responsibility of revamping the centre that first became operational in 2005. The refurbishment work valued at USD five hundred thousand approved by FIFA, is expected to be completed in six months. Speaking at the signing ceremony, GFF president Lamin Kabba Bajo said: ‘this is our first project and a challenge and we will make sure we do it properly and we are not found wanting.’ While expressing optimism, Kabba continued: ‘we don’t want it to be just a white wash (painting) but something of a standard structure.’ ‘I think they (the company) are brave to take up this considering the noise in the football’, he joked.
