Darboe asks protestors to go home peacefully

Protestors who gathered outside the residence of opposition leader, Lawyer Ousainou Darboe of the UDP were asked by him to go home peacefully and avoid breaching the peace. He told his supporters that they will investigate the election results and in a couple of days, they will tell them whether or not the results will be accepted.

Protestors were saying that the election was not acceptable. Media reports have indicated that Mr Mamma Kandeh of the GDC and Mr Essa Faal, the only independent candidate had been to Mr Ousainou Darboe’s residence.
