Could the National Assembly not sit using IT in the Face of COVID 19?

QUESTION OF TH DAY

The National Assembly cannot afford to indefinitely suspend sittings when urgent state matters have to be addressed. However since the British Prime Minister and Prince Charles the heir to the British throne are both recorded to be infected, the National Assembly members should not be complacent. Thermometers should be used at the gate. The Assembly siting arrangements should respect the policy of social distancing. Proper facilities should be provided for the washing of hands. A motion should be made to enable the members to use information technology to hold sittings without gathering in a hall.

Foroyaa will observe the sitting scheduled for Thursday 2nd April 2020 to consider the motion to extend the state of emergency to 90 days.
