Top clubs continue to enquire about possibilities of signing Bubacarr Sanneh but are being warded off by the price tag levelled on the Gambian.
The 21-year-old Gambian’s coach BO Henriksen yesterday divulged his space is being inundated with a bombardment of interests by clubs ardent on acquiring his player’s services.
But said AC Horsens is yet to receive a formal offer with most suitors put off by the asking price placed on Sanneh.
Danish Super League clubs OB Odense and Esbjerg including Brondy IF have reportedly scouted the former Real de Banjul stopper with Esbjerg coach Fredericksen said to have at one point watched him.
‘I’ve got a lot of enquiries from clubs on Bubacarr, but we have not received a single official offer yet. But the reason may be that I have told people that he costs money to sign him,’ Bubacarr’s gaffer Henriksen who’s concerned about keeping his prized asset at least till end of the season, said.
Sanneh, dubbed Timber, recently signed improved terms in a deal that will keep at the second tier Danish side until 2018. His renewed contract offer came about following stellar performances at the club’s back-four in his first season last year.
He joined Horsens first on a loan deal before impressing the club to make his deal permanent.
