Ports now face serious contention in their pursuit of the domestic title after Brikama United led Banjul United toBrikama edges in on leaders Ports go  second.

The Ferry Boys are ardent on applying the brakes to their six-year trophy drought this campaign but must withstand the pressure cooker after the Sateba outfit moved to second on Saturday, closing the gap to four points.

Any slip up will merely reduce the deficit but gaffer Alagie Sarr’s men know that too well and gave their all sashaying over Samger on a 2-1 score to stay at the summit.
