Bakary plans back-to-back Cup win

Scorpions forward Bakary Njie wants to win the Bulgarian Cup this season after winning it the previous Bakary Kambi Njie2campaign.

The forward was key to Bulgarian side Chernomore Varna’s cup success last term, scoring the all-important goal in extra time that secured the team the Cup.

And this year, he’s ardent on replicating the feat and looks on track after scoring again to ensure Chernomore’s qualification to the cup competition quarter-finals.

The 29-year-old former Espanyol and Real Vallodolid attacker netted to give his side’s the lead in a heated game they would later win 3-2 on extra-time. The victory over Levski Sofia sees them face Lovech April next year in the quarters.

Njie haven’t had the best of seasons managing a return of three goals in eleven appearances, eight of them as a starter.
