Spain-born Gambian Bakary Njie has extended his deal by 12 months with Bulgarian Premier League side Cherno More Varna, Foroyaa Sport reports.
Njie, who joined on free transfer from Spain third tier side Hospitalet after a stint with Laliga club Espanyol, penned a season-long deal after reaching agreement with club director Marin Marinov last week, it has emerged.
The 28-year-old attacker’s new deal brings to an end to wild speculations linking the player away from Cherno More Varna, dubbed the Black Sea Escapes.
Bakary has scored fifteen times in a combined forty-six league appearances for the Bulgarian outfit.
His goal ratio could have soared if it were not for an ankle and knee injuries that ruled him for close to a one year.
The former Real Valadollid goal-getter resumed playing only this year and has made ten appearances scoring thrice this season.
