Gambia Attorney General and Minister of Justice Abubacarr Ba Tambadou will on 22nd June 2020 table a motion at the National Assembly on the Extradition Agreement between the Republic of the Gambia and the Republic of Senegal.
He will in the same vein table a motion on the agreement on Assistance to Detained Persons and the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between the Republic of The Gambia and the Republic of Senegal.
The Second Ordinary Session of the National Assembly in the 2020 Legislative Year is slated for 15th June to 16th July 2020.
During this period, Attorney General Tambadou is also expected to table the Criminal Offences Bill 2020, Criminal Procedure Bill 2020, Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill 2020, Domestic Violence (Amendment) Bill 2020, Tourism Offences (Amendment) Bill 2020, Skin Bleaching (Prohibition) (Repeal) Bill 2020, The Gambia Nationality and Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2020, Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration (Amendment) Bill 2020 and other bills.
