The Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday Tuesday 15 September 2015 commenced Tobaski sales at the Gambia Beatrice MbogeMall at the former Tipper Garage.

This fair will end a day before the Tobaski feast.

Madam Beatrice Mboge, GCCI Director of Corporate Services, said the objective of the Tobaski Fair, in collaboration with the Gambia Mall, is to create an opportunity for the GCCI members to be able to promote their businesses and build more connections with partners.
“We are expecting to see everything in this Fair, as well as necessary things that people will need for the Tobaski feast,” she said.

According to Madam Mboge, this trade fair will help to expose small and medium enterprises to the general public, as well as serve as a platform where people can come and buy their Tobaski needs.

The GCCI officials also urged the General Public to come out and patronise the Trade.

Speaking earlier Mr.Lansana Ceesay, Administrative Manager Gambia Mall, said they have 108 shops built to standard and that their aim is to promote business in the Gambia. He said it is in this vein that they have decided to collaborate with the GCCI to hold this Tobaski Fair.
