QUESTION OF THE DAY
It has brought to the notice of Foroyaa that one Dr Mustapha Jobarteh and team have taken the initiative to conduct opinion polls for the 2021 presidential election. His conclusion is that even though 40 percent of the voters are undecided the 60 percent who are considered to be decided would give the incumbent victory.
His polling question is as follows: Who do you think will win?
99 percent would have said Jammeh at the time. The opposition was hardly present on the ground and Jammeh had full control of the political situation to the extent of locking up the UDP leader without any threat of an uprising. Hence the result though noteworthy should be taken with a pinch of salt.
