Sulayman Bah Gambia midfielders Dawda Bah and Yankuba Ceesay have moved to Finnish club KPV. The pair’s contract at their previous clubs ended at the elapse of the season. Mal, 30, who was tied to third tier outfit AC Kajaani along with countryman Omar Jasseh, first arrived at KPV few days before Dawda Bah also signed the dotted lines. Bah dubbed ‘Banjulian wizard’ by football fanatics in Finland, transfer sees him reunite with KPV, a side he calls his second home, his first professional club in 2005. And ten years to day he donned the club jersey, the wing-midfielder has returned to the club surprisingly dropping level to the third division. KPV are ambitious to push for promotion this year and in a bid to ensure materialization of the project, the club has secured the services of few prominent players including Dawda Bah –the first Gambian to have played in the German Bundesliga. They’ll be counting 30-year-old Bah’s experience to beef up their attack.
