A 29-year-old man residing in Bundung in Kanifing Municipality is seeking financial assistance for him to go abroad for medical treatment.

Demba Baldeh, who is asked to go for overseas treatment by a local hospital in the Gambia, is suffering from kidney failure. His medical report indicated that he was supposed to go for overseas treatment for an operation.

Alieu Baldeh, the elder brother of Demba Baldeh, told Foroyaa that since his brother was diagnosed five months ago, he has been spending money on his brother’s health, but his condition has not gotten better.

“Recently, we were told by a local hospital that I need to facilitate an overseas medical treatment for him in order for him (Demba) to be operated, but I cannot still do it because I don’t have the money to do so,” he said.

Mr. Baldeh said he is the breadwinner of his family and all the income he generates is spent on his brother’s medical bills.

Any Samaritan who wants to assist Mr. Baldeh can reach him on the following telephone numbers; 7705330 or 7269878.
